The seminar included an explanation of kidney stone disease, which occurs as a result of drinking insufficient fluids during the day, low citrate levels in the urine, and consuming excessive amounts of foods containing high levels of oxalates.
The seminar also addressed the types of kidney stones, such as calcium oxalate stones, uric acid stones, and hereditary stones like cystine stones.
Furthermore, the seminar explained methods for treating and preventing kidney stones, including adhering to a proper healthy diet, drinking plenty of fluids, and reducing the intake of certain salts and animal-source proteins, due to their significant role in reducing the risk of developing kidney stones in the future.
