On Tuesday morning, June 30th, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah conducted the competitive examination for postgraduate applicants (Master's degree) for the academic year 2026-2027. The exam was held under the direct supervision of Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, Dean of the College. A number of pharmacy graduates from various universities participated in the exam amid a highly organized academic atmosphere provided by the college to ensure a smooth process.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, stated that 113 male and female students participated in the examination. He emphasized the college’s commitment to providing an ideal environment by equipping the halls and organizing specialized examination committees, in full compliance with administrative regulations and ministerial directives.

He further noted that the exam included a series of questions designed to evaluate the academic readiness of the candidates. This step aligns with the college's ongoing efforts to enhance scientific research and prepare highly qualified academic professionals capable of advancing the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in the country.
