Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

Due to the unavailability of the transport medium across all Iraqi governorates, the University of Basrah has taken upon itself the responsibility of producing and supplying health directorates with the viral transport medium (VTM) for the Coronavirus.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, stated: "We have delivered 200 transport media and 400 medical swabs to the Maysan Health Directorate, and 100 transport media and 200 medical swabs to the Dhi Qar Health Directorate, all of which were prepared and produced in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah."

Dr. Falah Hassan Shari also mentioned that their campaign is ongoing to cover all Iraqi governorates with transport media and medical swabs to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak. Shari continued: "This contribution comes out of concern for the health of citizens in all cities of our beloved Iraq."
