Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "The PhD Study Journey in the United Kingdom," in a lecture presented by Dr. Wafaa Abdul Nabi Fleifel.

The seminar included an explanation of the details of the study journey in Britain, starting from the language course to the academic course (PhD). It also reviewed some participations in conferences and workshops during the years of study, and how to benefit from workshops to develop experimental laboratory methods for conducting scientific research using the latest possible means to yield valuable results with significant implications.

Furthermore, the seminar reviewed the laboratory equipment used in the PhD research and the early diagnosis of biological markers for pregnancy complications using the latest laboratory methods. It also highlighted some of the challenges the researcher faced during the study, including the time required to obtain approvals for collecting human samples from health centers and how to deal with the Human Tissue Authority (HTA).
